What we do
ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS
A project does not always begin with a specification. Sometimes you know exactly what the equipment needs to do, but not what it should look like, how it should work or whether the obvious solution is even the right one.
GravityX starts there — with the problem — and brings together the engineering resources needed to turn it into something that can be built, tested and put to work.

Start with the challenge
A load needs to be moved. Equipment needs to fit into a space it was never designed for. A process needs a mechanical solution that does not exist off the shelf. You do not need a finished specification before calling us.
Explore before you lock the design
The first idea is not automatically the best one. Where the project allows it, different principles, layouts and manufacturing approaches can be considered before time and money are committed to detailed engineering.
Make it buildable
A technically correct design is only useful if it can be manufactured, assembled, tested and maintained. Fabrication input is brought into the engineering process early, before drawings reach the workshop.
From an operational problem to a piece of equipment
Imagine the starting point is simple: we need to move this load between two levels, within this space, while the vessel is operating. That statement contains no solution. It does contain the information needed to begin asking the right questions.
What is the load case? What space is actually available? How will the equipment be installed and maintained? What interfaces already exist? Does the operating environment introduce requirements for materials, lifting, hydraulics, electrical equipment or certification? Answering those questions before choosing a concept can prevent a project from becoming committed to a solution that is unnecessarily difficult to manufacture or operate.
Then engineering becomes progressively more concrete. A working principle becomes a concept. Interfaces and loads are defined. Components can be selected, calculations performed and drawings developed. At the same time, fabrication experience can challenge details that look straightforward on a screen but become expensive once steel has to be cut, machined, welded and assembled.
That connection matters particularly for one-offs and special equipment. There may be no established production line and no previous unit to copy. The engineering has to survive contact with the workshop.
GravityX takes responsibility for moving that process forward — from an initially undefined technical challenge to a buildable solution and, when required, through fabrication and delivery.
