What we do
Emergency & Deadline-Critical
Something broke. Or the schedule simply won’t wait.
When a component fails, a delivery slips or equipment is needed sooner than the normal supply chain can provide it, the technical problem is only half the problem. You also need engineering capacity, materials, machines and people available at the same time.
GravityX gives you one call to start that process.
Full capacity, spread out
A network we already know
One point of contact
Find capacity while the clock is running
Instead of contacting workshops one by one, GravityX can search across engineering and fabrication capacity and assemble a team around the actual requirement.
Run work in parallel
Not everything has to wait for the previous activity to finish. Engineering, material sourcing, production planning and preparation for fabrication can overlap where the technical sequence allows it.
Fast does not mean undocumented
A short deadline does not remove project requirements. Applicable material traceability, welding documentation, inspection and testing still have to follow the work.
The expensive part may be the waiting
A failed component offshore, a vessel waiting for equipment or a fabrication package threatening a mobilisation date creates a different kind of project. The purchase price of the replacement is no longer the only number that matters. Every day spent locating capacity, waiting for a quotation or sitting in a workshop queue can affect a much larger operation.
The conventional sequence can make that worse: first find an engineer, then finish the drawings, then request quotations, then locate material, then book production. Each step is reasonable. In a deadline-critical project, the accumulated waiting time may not be.
So the sequence has to be challenged.
While dimensions are being confirmed, available material can be checked. While engineering develops the details, potential fabrication capacity can be identified. If one facility cannot meet the complete schedule, the project can be divided where doing so makes technical and commercial sense. Inspection and testing can be planned before the equipment reaches the end of fabrication.
Sometimes the fastest answer is also surprisingly simple: repair instead of replace, modify what already exists, reproduce a discontinued component or redesign a detail around material that can actually be sourced within the available time.
GravityX coordinates those decisions and resources from the first call, so your urgent project has someone driving the complete delivery rather than several suppliers each waiting for the next instruction.
